Welcome to TK Pups    TK Pups Logo

Both of our 4-legged family members were rescues from the animal shelter of Frederick. We've had Precious (the kissER) now for a little over a year. When we picked her up, she was labled as a German Sheppard mix, but she's 2 years old now, only 34 lbs, and does not have the body of a Sheppard... so she has become our "dingo dog"! Star (the kissEE) joined our family in November of 2002, and this picture was taken the very first day we brought Star home. Star is our one year old Pit Bull mix, and she's the most people friendly dog I've ever met!

So who is TKPups? I (Thad) am a programmer in the IT department of Unison. I design, program, and implement business intranet applications as well as Windows™ applications, but they're all internal to the company, so you can't view any of them. Kerry is currently attaining her masters degree in Negotiation and Conflict Management. While working on her degree, Kerry is doing volunteer mediation at CALM. And, if you really want, you can check out my old, old, old website that I moved here from Tripod, but I warn you... it's old!

If you want email me for any reason, use the following address:

Happy 2005 to all!

My Christmas Tool was a big success. There will probably be a few more families using it next year. Maybe even try to market it.

I also spent a little time and created a TKPups buddy icon for IM. Not too shabby for my first try (if I do say so myself).

We also spent some time and built a page for Kerry's mediation... check it out at: www.tkpups.com/mediate.

Thad & Kerry got engaged! Kerry's 30th birthday was on Thanksgiving (Happy Thanksgiving BTW), and she was quite surprised to open her present and find a ring. Combined with Kerry going to school for her Master's, we're keeping quite busy.

On another good note, Star's anxieties have really calmed down... we can now leave the house, and not worry about the house not being there (or at least in one piece) when we get back.

Also, I'm working towards having a program on TV -- it will be a community channel in Indianna -- I'm going to be famous!

One more thing... if you're in my family, make sure you add your Christmas list into my newly written tool, or you're not getting anything!

If you don't already have it, get and play Unreal Tournament 2004.

I've also added a new link (MC-DOG) and a new Humor link... check below.

Star also got to see a specialist (yes, a doggie-therapist) about a month ago to help get over the separation anxiety. So far, things are going really well. If this works out, we really have to thank Dr. Meyer!

Happy Thanksgiving! Merry Christmas! Happy New Year! ... and all those other holidays that I've missed.

Check out the toy I bought myself for christmas! Woohooo! My very first 4-wheeler. This pic was taken the day I got it, at about 2 AM after my brother, his friend, and I finished riding around in the mud!

Independence Day! I hope you all have a great one. We're doing the family thing with my family in PA. We took our own fireworks up, and I made babyback ribs (mmmmmmmm ribs).

We had an injury last night (click here)! One that warranted 3.5 hours at the emergency room... the animal emergency room, that is. Yes, our coordinationally challenged puppy decided she wanted to be like her daddy, and unintentionally pierce her forearm.

I've set up a Neverwinter Nights permanent world called Land of Nordock on my computer. Since my connection is limitted, so is access to the server. If you want to connect to it, send an email to me.

TK Pups has moved to Germantown, Maryland. The move went very well, thanks to all my friends (and family) that helped out with everything!

TK Pups is brand new! Our two "pound puppies" have become part of our family, and brought us so much joy, that we decided we wanted to do what we can to help other shelter animals find the loving homes they deserve. This site is dedicated to that cause, and to our Precious and Star.
